Fix 1. Force Quit MDCrashReportTool (On Mac)

  • Open The Activity Monitor app.
  • Look for MDCrashReportTool and Force Quit it.
  • After this, the syncing process will work fine.
  • Unfortunately, it looks that process starts back up with every sync, so prepare to repeat this a lot.

Note: If that doesn’t work, then turn on Airplane mode on both iPhone and Mac, and then try.

Fix 2. Kill MDCrashReportTool .exe (On Windows PC)

Killing the process will work perfect.

If it gets stuck while trying for the Apple Watch, then simply turn off Apple Watch.

If that does not work, then turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and then check.
