How To Fix Google Keyboard Translate Not Working
Fix 1. Clear Google Keyboard Cache Files
- On your Android phone, go to Settings > Apps > All Apps/Manage Apps.
- Look for Gboard and tap on it.
- Tap “Storage”.
- Click on “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data”.
Fix 2. Uninstall and Re-install Gboard’s Update
- Open Play Store.
- Type Gboard in search box and tap on Uninstall and confirm it.
- Then tap on “Update”.
- Now, check if Gboard is working or not.
Fix 3. Try Microsoft Swift Keyboard Instead of Gboard
- Open Play Store.
- Type “Microsoft Swift Keyboard” and tap on Install.
- To use it, open Microsoft Swift Keyboard app and tap on “Enable SwiftKey” and turn on Microsoft Swift Keyboard.
- Next, click on “Select SwiftKey” and select “Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard”.
- Now, you can try the keyboard to translate.
- Open the keyboard and click on “Translation” icon and select the language you want to translate.
