How To Fix YouTube Slow or Lagging on Chrome
Fix 1. Close Other Tabs On Chrome & Apps To Free Memory
If you have opened other tabs on Chrome, then close them to free memory.
Also, if any unused apps are running then close them. Open Task Manager and end the task for unused apps.
Fix 2. Delete The Temp Files
- In Windows Search, type “Run” and open it.
- In the Run box, type “%temp%” and hit ENTER.
- Press “CTRL + A” to select all files.
- Right-click and delete all files.
Fix 3. Turn Off Ad-Blocker Extensions
- On Google Chrome, click on 3 dots and then select Extension > Manage Extensions.
- Now, disable all the Ad-blocker extensions (for example – AdBlock, uBlock Origin, Adblock Plus).
Fix 4. Turn Off Unwanted/Unused Chrome Extensions
- On Google Chrome, click on 3 dots and then select Extension > Manage Extensions.
- Now, disable all the Ad-blocker extensions that are unused, unwanted, outdated and suspicious.
