Fix 1. Power Cycle Your Xbox

  • Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button.
  • Unplug the console’s power cable.
  • Now, wait for couple of minutes.
  • Press and hold power button to remove any remaining power.
  • Plug-in power cable.
  • Press the Xbox button to turn it ON and then check.

Fix 2. Switch Internet Connection

  • If you are using Wi-Fi or LAN cable, then switch to mobile data via hotspot.
  • Now, try to sign-in to Fortnite and see if that works.

Fix 3. Disable VPN/Proxy Server

  • If you are connected to VPN or Proxy server, then simply disconnect/turn off it.
  • And then try to sign in to your game and check if your problem is solved or not.

Fix 4. Sign-In To Fortnite On Another Devices

  • For example, install Fortnite in your Android.
  • Login with the same account that you are using on Xbox to play Fortnite.
  • And see if you are able to login and play the game or not.
  • If you are able to login on Android, then logout from it and then try to login on Xbox and see if that helps.

Fix 5. Clear Mac Address

  • Navigate to Settings > Network Settings on your Xbox.
  • Select the Advanced Settings
  • Here find and select the Alternate Mac Address.
  • From here you can Clear the MAC address. Just select “CLEAR”.

Your console should restart now. If not, then restart your console and check if your problem is fixed.

Fix 6. Change DNS Server Manually

  • Launch Xbox and go to Profile & System > Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced Settings.
  • Select DNS Settings > Manual.
  • Primary DNS: 8.8.8
  • Secondary DNS: 8.4.4

If that doesn’t work, then enter:

  • Primary DNS: 1.1.1
  • Secondary DNS: 0.0.1

Now, check if problem solved or not.
