Fix 1. Disable Discord Overlay

In Discord Settings > search “Game Overlay” > uncheck “Enable Overlay.”

Fix 2. Completely Close Discord

  • Open Task Manager and look for Discord.
  • Right-click on it and select “End Task”.
  • And then launch the game and check.

Fix 3. Disable Steam Overlay

  • Open Steam Settings > In Game and uncheck “Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game.”
  • Now, launch the game and check.

Fix 4. Turn off any other overlays running in the Background

  • Disable Nvidia Overlay: Open Nvidia GeForce Experience > Settings > General > Turn off “In-Game Overlay”.
  • Similarly disable overlay in all apps or close all other overlay apps. (GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay)
  • And then launch the game and check.

Other Fixes:

  • Play in windowed mode.
  • Check if your mouse is properly connected.
  • Restart the game and your PC.
  • Disable Nahimic audio and your antivirus from task manager – Open Task Manager. Look for Nahimic audio and your antivirus software. Select each of them and click End Task.
