Fix 1. Perform Clean Installation of Graphics Card Driver
For NVIDIA, go to – https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
For AMD, go to – https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html
For Intel, go to – https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download-center/home.html
Search and select your correct Graphics card driver version and re-install it. And after the clean installation of graphic driver is done. Restart your PC and then launch the game and check.
For example, if you have Nvidia Graphics Card, then go to – https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/ and manually enter and search for your correct graphics card driver version and download it.
- Run the downloaded exe file and select Yes to allow and then click OK.
- Then click on “AGREE AND CONTINUE”.
- Then select “Custom (Advanced)” option and then click on “NEXT”.
- Then tick mark “Perform a clean installation” box and then click on “NEXT”.
- And after the clean installation of graphic driver is done. Restart your PC and then launch the game and check.

Fix 2. Turn OFF Enable Shader Pre-caching & Clear Download Cache
- Open Steam Settings, go to Downloads tab.
- Scroll down and Turn Off Enable Shader Pre-caching.
- Then Hit the button Clear Cache next to Clear Download Cache.
- Then click on Confirm, this will automatically restart your Steam and then you can launch the game and check.
Fix 3. Re-Install Steam
Simply, uninstall Steam from your PC and then reinstall it and then launch the Resident Evil Requiem game and check.
Fix 4. Run Steam as Admin
Search for Steam in Windows Search and then click on “Run as administrator” and then launch the game and check.
