[Quick Tips] Enter And Exit Safe Mode On Android

How To Enter and Exit Safe Mode On Android

How To Enter and Exit Safe Mode On Android

Read The Simple And Easy Steps To Boot Your Android Phone Or Tablet Into Safe Mode And Exit From It!

The Safe Mode function allows all the third-party apps to be disabled and you can only use the pre-installed apps. This function is used to find whether any of the 3rd party applications are responsible for it. Most users boot their Android mobile into safe mode when their device misbehaves, some default apps do not work properly, device started freezing, battery started draining fast, and other problems.

So, if you are also facing any problem with your Android device and you have decided to enter your Android phone into safe mode but don’t know the steps to do this. You don’t need to worry as below I have listed the steps to enter and exit safe mode on Android.

So, let’s learn it.

How To Enter Safe Mode On Android Phone?

If you are a Google Pixel, Samsung, Huawei, Oppo, LG, Sony, HTC, or any other Android phone or tablet user and your device is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow or later version then you can follow the below steps to turn on safe mode.

Step 1: Firstly, press and hold the Power key.

Step 2: Then, touch and hold the Power Off option.

Enter Safe Mode On Android With Keys

If you have an older model of Android phone or tablet such as Samsung Galaxy S4 then the steps to activate safe mode with buttons are as follows.

Step 1: Press and hold the Power key until you see options on the screen.

Step 2: Hit on Power off option to switch off your phone.

Step 3: Now, press and hold the Power key unless the animated Android phone brand logo (for example Samsung logo) is displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Leave the Power key and then press and hold the Volume Down key, keep holding it unless your smartphone boots up.

Step 5: Leave it when you see the “Safe mode” text written in the bottom left corner of the mobile.

Once your phone entered safe mode, check the error that you were facing is occurring or not. If not, then you need to uninstall recently installed apps to solve the issue.

But if the issue is still not solved when your device is in safe mode, then it is clear that the installed third-party apps are not the culprit for it. Maybe the software or hardware issue is the culprit.

Anyway, whether the issue is solved or not, in both cases you need to exit the safe mode. So, let us learn the steps to exit safe mode.
